Overview

Overview tab contains summary information for the selected hard drive: health status, performance and total free space, disk temperature, monitoring statistics, amount of reallocated sectors and disk power-on hours, most recent events for the current drive and temperature history chart.

Disk Information

The Disk information screen lists information about selected hard drive including disk geometry, supported modes and features. All these parameters depends of hard drive model and disk manufacturer and they are hard coded into the hard drive firmware.

S.M.A.R.T. Information

SMART Information tab - displays the information about the selected disk's S.M.A.R.T. status, list of hard drive S.M.A.R.T. attributes and their condition. Using this window, you can control the disk's state, as well as its individual parameters. You can also adjust the program to alert you when the specific S.M.A.R.T. attributes.

Hard drive Temperature Chart

This tab shows the hard drive temperature history chart.

Program Settings

You can control every ActiveSMART option using Program Settings window. Preferences tab contains monitoring and startup settings, logging settings and program appearance. Use Global Notification Settings tab to change program alert options.

Log

The Log tab contains information about hard drive events, detected by ActiveSMART - S.M.A.R.T. attribute changes, hard drive status and temperature changes and all reported alerts.
